This park has a military services monument, a reflecting pool and inscribed rock that you can view. Located nearby is the West Jordan Historical Museum.

A big draw for kids is the park's Wild West Jordan Playground, the largest playground in Utah. The innovative play structure was built by 6,000 community volunteers over a ten-day period. The playground covers two-thirds of an acre and contains over 12,000 square feet of play surface. The fully-fenced playground is divided into a tot lot area for two to five year olds and a larger area for five to 12 year olds. The crowning feature is a superstructure which contains 23 stair levels and a two-story curly slide.

Veterans Memorial Park is a large, mixed-use, community park. It occupies 100 acres and includes pavilions, the West Jordan Rodeo Arena, tennis courts, baseball fields (both youth and league), a concrete badminton court, volleyball courts (both sand and concrete), basketball hoops, several playgrounds, the West Jordan Historical Museum, the Gene Fullmer Fitness & Rec Center, the West Jordan Outdoor Pool, the Sugar Factory Playhouse, a military service monument, and a peace garden.

The park pavilions can be reserved by calling West Jordan Public Works at the number listed above.
