The Alice Gallery at Glendinning is located at the historic Glendinning Mansion in Salt Lake City which also houses the main offices of the Utah Arts Council including Individual Artist Services, Arts in Education and the Community/State Partnership program. The gallery is named after Alice Merrill Horne, the founder of the Utah Arts Council.

In 1976, the Legislature purchased and renovated the 1883 building for a permanent office and gallery for the Utah Arts Council. The Glendinning Gallery is located in the Glendinning mansion on East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City. The gallery features exhibitions of art from the Utah Arts Council and the State Fine Art Collection.
